Have you discovered the perfect product in our range of Recovery Boots and Recovery Pants that meets your needs and supports your recovery? Fantastic! But before you get started, it’s crucial to select the correct size for your Flowell gear. Since choosing the right size can be a bit tricky, we’ve compiled the most important information and tips to help you find your perfect Flowell size. Grab your tape measure, and let’s dive in.
Why Bother Choosing a Size at All?
The effectiveness of your massage with Flowell hinges on the correct positioning of the air pressure chambers. Incorrect placement can significantly reduce the benefits of the massage. Therefore, selecting the right size is critical. Additionally, you need to choose between our Recovery Boots and Recovery Pants.
A unique advantage of the Recovery Pants is that they come in a single length, eliminating the need to worry about sizing. The Recovery Pants cover a larger surface area, massaging both the legs and the buttocks. They can also be customized with zippers to fit your individual leg circumference. This ensures the most effective pulsating massage and the greatest recovery benefits.
Sizes for Flowell Recovery Boots
If you've decided to go with the Recovery Boots, here’s how to determine the best size for you. Measure your inseam with a simple tape measure, from the crotch to the heel.
Our Sizes at a Glance
Size | Inseam Length | Recommendation |
---|---|---|
One size | < 35 inches | For an inseam length of up to 35 inches, we recommend the Reboots Recovery Pants and Pants 2.0 for the largest massage area and optimal results. |
M | < 31.9 inches | The Recovery Boots in size M are suitable for an inseam length of up to 31.9 inches. Higher pressure may be needed if your leg circumference is relatively small. |
L | 32.3 - 34.6 inches | The Recovery Boots in size L are suitable for an inseam length between 32.3 inches and 34.6 inches. |
XL | > 35 inches | For an inseam length of more than 35 inches, we recommend the Recovery Boots in XL. |
Note: Your height is irrelevant when selecting the size of the Boots.
The Perfect Fit
Generally, the Recovery Boots should be pulled up as far as possible, with only the tips of your toes peeking out. This ensures your entire legs benefit optimally from the recovery application. If you’re worried that size M might be too big for you, typically a height of 5.3ft should suffice for using the M Boots. For heights below 5.2ft, it’s possible to deactivate the top chamber to ensure a better fit. Additionally, if your leg circumference is small, you may need to use a higher pressure.
By the way, you can also use Flowell on just one leg. On the back of the multi-connector, you'll find a hidden plug to block the unused access.
