HEAT THERAPY APPLICATION
Heat promotes blood circulation to muscles and joints. The application of heat relaxes the muscles and can help with tension-related pain and non-acute injuries such as bruises or sprains. When combined with our Compression Pants, heat reduces tension. For this, we recommend using low to moderate pressure levels.
COLD THERAPY APPLICATION
Cold therapy provides pain relief and reduces swelling. It significantly slows down inflammatory processes, making it particularly suitable for muscle and joint injuries accompanied by pain and swelling. Cold therapy reduces blood flow, thereby inhibiting pain and swelling.
IT'S A MATCH
Both heat and cold therapy can be excellently combined with the compression massage of the Flowell compression boots and pants - to further support compression massage. This aids in reducing swelling and managing pain more effectively. In the realm of regeneration, versatility is key: With reusable gel pads, they offer customizable cold or heat therapy to reduce inflammation or alleviate pain. Thermo Sleeves serve as the perfect complement to your Flowell Recovery Pants.

Thermosleeves provide 360° of cold and heat, thus ensuring complete coverage of the area being treated. The cooling gel is scientifically formulated and make it easier for diverse groups to manage their conditions effectively and comfortably. These groups include people with arthritis, post-surgical patients, chronic pain sufferers and active individuals.
Our products have been scientifically developed to ensure the recommended duration of heat or cold therapy without damaging or burning the skin. The sleeves maintain an optimal cooling or heating temperature for about 15-30 minutes, and the duration strongly depends on the degree of prior heating or cooling. The more intensely they are pre-heated or cooled, the longer the sleeves remain warm or cold.
There is a significant difference. During treatment, the products adjust to the user's body temperature. Even if you feel that the outside of the sleeve is getting warmer or cooler, the product traps the heat or cold so that it penetrates deeply into the desired area throughout the entire treatment duration. Typically, the temperature difference between treated and untreated skin is about 54-59°F.
No, Flowell Thermosleeves are not waterproof. They are made from a scientifically formulated gel. If the product gets wet, the gel may dissolve.
To clean your Flowell Thermosleeves, we recommend using an antibacterial wipe applied directly to the fabric. Allow the Sleeve to air dry thoroughly before using it again.
Always put on the Flowell Thermosleeve with the wider end facing upwards. The black thread should always be at the bottom to ensure optimal fit and compression. Refer to our size chart on top of the page to ensure the right fit.
